Traditional financial advisors often work independently, with one representative managing several accounts. However, we follow a different approach. While you might usually interact with one or two of us, our team works to manage your portfolio. We think this collaborative method offers at least five key advantages:
- Broader Expertise: Our team brings together a diverse range of skills and knowledge, including investment research, portfolio management, financial planning, and custodial services.
- Increased Vision: Multiple perspectives help us find potential opportunities and risks that might otherwise get overlooked.
- Improved Client Service: Our team approach promotes better listening, communication and coordination, providing you with prompt, comprehensive support.
- Enhanced Solutions: Collaboration fosters helpful approaches to address your financial needs.
- Succession Planning: A team-based method can bring a smooth transition of client relationships, providing continuity of service even as individual advisors retire.
We understand this may seem unusual. However, you expect your needs to be addressed, and we must see that this happens. That’s why multiple team members often participate in meetings with you, share notes, discuss your accounts regularly, and even answer the phone for each other if someone isn’t available.
This client-focused approach limits the number of clients we can serve, prioritizing quality over quantity. It may also require us to temper our individual egos and short-term financial rewards, which may explain why other firms don’t follow this model. But we believe this collaborative method fosters a stronger relationship between us and leads to better results. We’ve used this approach for over 20 years, and we hope you see the benefit.
